Hi @saintmalik ,
We are sorry to hear about your issue. Can you please confirm if everything on your site is updated? Does your site meet the plugin requirements here?
Can you once again perform a conflict check following the steps in this article?
I met the requirements, latest WordPress, latest PHP 7.4.6, PHP memory is 356M, I have done troubleshooting, but the problem lies in the plugin and not conflicts with any themes or plugin, the error is still loaded with different themes and all plugins deactivated only Yoast SEO Activated only
Same Problem here (meta box works not)
Hi @saintmalik,
Thank you for your reply.
If the issue persists when Yoast SEO is the only active plugin and while using a default theme such as TwentyTwenty, the next step would be to try to reinstall the plugin. Can you please:
1. Deactivate Yoast SEO 14.2.
2. Delete Yoast SEO 14.2.
3. Install the plugin again by going to Plugins → Add New → Search for Yoast SEO and install and activate it again.
Can you check if the issues persist after reinstalling? You are not expected to lose any previously entered data or settings as these are stored in your database. However, we always recommend the have site backups.
I have done now, and it doesn’t seem to solve it, the metadata box still don’t shows up and the error still pops up https://www.screencast.com/t/QBYvBU97H
Likewise the sitemap I generated with yoast plugin seems to return 403 error to the Search Console dashboard
I feel really concerned as my blog depends on the Yoast SEO plugin setup

Guys, I have just done some extra troubleshooting, I tested older version of the plugins which where working fine on my blog before, and I enabled troubleshooting mode, so yoast plugin was the only active plugin along with twenty nineteen themes, but guess what the error was still popping up, I reupdated my WordPress, but the error was still there, could it be a problem from my hosting provider? I have the latest PHP, and the the error still pops without any other plugins active.
@saintmalik
Could you advise which older version of Yoast SEO for WordPress was working and when you found that the issue started?
We find this really strange that the Yoast SEO meta box isn’t loading properly when enabling troubleshooting mode and just having a default theme such as TwentyTwenty and only the Yoast SEO plugin being enabled. Could you also check if you are meeting the other plugin requirements? You can find it here — https://yoast.com/help/plugin-requirements/
