    Hi,

I just started using Google Content Experiments. Both Google and SEO bloggers recommend that we do not noindex our variation pages. They recommend that we use rel=”canonical” tags. Google says not to use them twice. Apparently, SEO Ultimate is canonicalizing my variation pages. I can’t add code to these pages to canonicalize them again. How do I safely do a Google Content Experiment on my homepage without royally FUBARRING my SEO? Is SEO Ultimate the plugin I should be using or is it going to screw me? Currently, I’m using noindex and crossing my fingers because I can’t use two canonical link tags. Thanks.

    Hi:

The good thing about SEO Ultimate is, it’s there when you need it and invisible when you don’t. Just don’t click the canonical option under Miscellaneous settings and you can add the tags on the page level as you wish.

    Hope this helps.

    All the best!

    Jeffrey
