    Hi,

    I noticed some of SEOPress functionality is broken and by disabling plugins I found out it’s caused by Complianz. It wrongly categorizes seopress-metabox-js-extra as data-service="youtube" data-category="marketing" which is obviously not correct.

    I know there’s no integration in SEOPress so it’s not “detected” by Complianz, but it also shouldn’t convert whole inline JS for the plugin to plain text.

    Hi,

    quick note: this JS is for connected user with edit_post capability.

    It should never been excluded.

    I’m sorry for the late reply, and I appreciate your patience.

    Could you provide me with some screenshots or a video through loom.com? I tried to replicate this issue in my test environment with no luck. With more information, I can create a task directly for our developers so they can take a closer look if necessary.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure if there’s anything more to add to this.

    1. Complianz has no integration with SEOPress in Admin, so there’s no way to enable/disable specific compatibility (yet this shouldn’t be the issue)
    2. Script (variables) inlined in code for logged in user with edit_post capability is hijacked by Complianz and converted to text/plain, which break SEOPress Pro functionality for Universal Meta Box (frontend SEO data editor)

    Isn’t there a filter/way to set an exception for seopress-metabox-js-extra so it’s not altered and remains as text/javascript?

    Hello @morvy ,

    The developers got back to me and provided a link to their GitHub. Here’s an MU plugin that will whitelist a script: GitHub link.

    Keep in mind this is an empty script, so you will need it to modify to suit your needs, you can place it in the wp-content/mu-plugins/ directory. Just to be sure, please clear the cache once you’ve done this.

    I can confirm the filter for whitelisting works, now my SEOPress Universal Metabox is back, but I really hope you include this in plugin’s core, as this really behaves more like a bug.
