Separate category; separate email

Would this be possible:

Having a regular shop on a website, excluding one category (already did this). The single category has it’s own shop page (did this using a shortcode). When someone buys a product in this category, they get an email that’s different from the usual email.

Or is there any other way to have a different system for (in my case) selling sports outfits and letting members pay for entering a competition?
