separating content from design

    Hi!

    I have a wp network setup, and Im looking for way to use this plugin, so that there is just one design template for the different language sites. I want to be able to just update the design of one site – menus – widgets – header etc. Is this possible? Or do I have to export from , say, the English site after a design update and then import it somehow into German site?

    Maybe I misunderstood your question but if you mean just the design (everything in your theme) I would answer “yes”.

    You have to configure every site right after after creating one – of course – (even if you activate all plugins networkwide).

    Thanks for your reply.

    In my minds (lazy) eye, I had just one site, which would then be cloned (internationalization), but for localisation there will be differences like number of pages and widgets displayed, header images etc. So, I guess this is what you mean by configuring each site?
