Series within a serie

    Here I am again with a question.

    I have a couple of series, that in it self contain other series of books, for example Terry Pratchet’s Discworld, which contains 41 books, and are in about 6 ‘themes’ or sub-series. I would like to be able to give, again as example:

    Equal Rites serienumber: 3 – The witchers (subserie): 1
    Reaper man serienumber: 11 – Death (subserie): 2

    and so on

    Hello,
    This is something you can setup for your use case using the “Custom User Metadata” extension to create a “Sub-series number” metadata field. Or you can create a “Sub-series” custom taxonomy.

    Been doing that now, the only problem is that isn’t a clickable link like in the normal serie.

    A custom taxonomy will have auto-generated archive links, while a custom metadata will not.
