Did you update your .htaccess file?

Yes, I already did. Still the same problem.
Check out the site pwng3.in
Actually it looks like they work (http://pwng3.in/news/internet-explorer-10-platform-preview-available-for-download/ opens) but the content is goobered.
Turn off your plugins and see if it fixes it.

Tried it. Still no use.
And, the page you see is the list of all posts. I edited the .htaccess file, and after that, links to posts redirect to the entire list of posts, instead of opening up the post.
the .htaccess and mod_rewrite are probably correct. This is a WordPress problem.
preface the permalink with “/index.php/” and see if that works. Thank axis.servicesnp for that one.

But, this is how it looks now : http://pwng3.in/index.php/gnome-3-0-on-ubuntu/
Can’t I get it to look like : http://pwng3.in/category/postname ?

I guess even I’ll have to downgrade to 3.06 now 🙁
Are you sure that it’ll fix everything?
That’s not a ‘WordPress’ problem. That’s a problem with your server and PHP.
If you have to put index.php in your URL, then that means your SERVER can’t handle hiding that.

Well, how do I hide this then?

I switched back to 3.04. All fixed now 🙂
Hopefully the Permalinks problem will be fixed in the next WordPress upgrade.
Once more. Not a WordPress problem, exactly, and unlikely to be fixed because of that.
It is MOST likely an issue with your Server and the version of PHP you’re running. You may as well check now, because the next major release of WP (3.2) will REQUIRE PHP 5.2.4 or higher. So check if that’s what you’re on.

I’ve got 5.2.17 as of now.
And I’ve a doubt. If its not the problem with WordPress, how did rolling back to 3.04 fix the issue?
I’ll spin that for ya 🙂 If it’s a problem with WordPress, why isn’t everyone having it?
Honestly, yes it’s a problem, but it’s specific to a very small number of people, and with the limited info we’ve gotten on that, all we can guess is that it’s something with either your server setup and PHP, or a plugin.

I guess I’ll have to succumb to your justification :/
