server error 400 bad request

    Hi guys,

    Since a WordPress update to 5.0.2 I can’t use templates in Elementor at all, whenever I use one and save I just get “server error 400 bad request”.

    I’ve spoken to my hosts and they said they’ve upped the php memory limit to the max, and said to contact you guys.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    I’m just guessing here, but I think your server may have some sort of firewall blocking you, like a mod_security rule that has inadvertently kicked in. (This happens to me occasionally, not necessarily with Elementor, but just with various things). The host can usually see the rule that kicked in pretty easily and stop it from happening. I think it’s kind of like a false positive. Anyway, that’s what I’d check next.
