Server load – select queries

    Hi guys

    We are having quite a few issues with server load and the site needing a restart. I have been told that is due to load on the mysql DB. The DB is about 350MB and the site has about 6000 posts.

    We have a number of plugins working on the site they are:

    Adminimize
    AdRotate Professional
    Advanced Excerpt
    BackUpWordPress
    Cimy User Extra Fields
    Cimy User Manager
    Debug Bar
    Duplicate Post
    Dynamic Widgets
    Joomla2WP Migrated Users Authentication Plugin
    New RoyalSlider
    Posts Per Category
    Q2W3 Post Order
    Redirect To Homepage
    Relevanssi
    Remove Widget Titles
    Simple Ads Manager
    Social Media Feather
    Theme My Login
    User Role Editor
    Widget Logic
    WordPress Importer

    The select queries per hour seem to be increasing, it is currently at about 3,220k per hour.

    Can anyone point to any of the plugins that may be resource hogs or a potential solution. Happy to get more info if needed.

    At present the site seems to be running fine but all of a sudden it could crash. The server company are giving little advice on what is causing the crash apart from saying that it is due to select calls to the mysql DB.

    As you can prob notice I am not a sys admin. Thanks in advance any help would be greatly appreciated.
