    Following error message displays with red border and background when trying to use this plugin. 

    phpMyAdmin - Error
Error during session start; please check your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly. Also ensure that cookies are enabled in your browser.
session_start(): open(SESSION_FILE, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2)
session_start(): Failed to read session data: files (path: /var/php_sessions)

    As suggested on other topic posts, I have removed and re-installed phpMyAdmin already but still cannot get connected. This plugin, my theme and WordPress are all updated to latest versions. Have tried in Chrome and Microsoft Edge both.

    As error message says, neither reinstalling PMA or changing the browser will help. Your website hosting has misconfiguration. Contact them and refer this topic or error message, and follow the instructions what they will respond. They might even turn on that config.
