Set Address On Map & Wrong Pin Location

    Hi, I have problems at setting place address on map.

    The default location of Country, Region and City are all set as Hong Kong (SAR). (Hong Kong is such a small place that it’s actually a City)

    My website is in Chinese (Traditional) and all the places I added are in Hong Kong only. I tried to enter addresses either in Chinese or English through the following method:

    1. WP admin – Places > Add New
    2. Site Frontend – Add Listing & Edit Place
    3. Import CSV with address.

    The results is always the same:
    Method 1 & 2:
    Clicking Set Address On Map only pops up at error “Please choose any address of the (Hong Kong (SAR)) city only.” 6-7 times in a row.
    Method 3:
    On the front end, the pin indicates the wrong location on the map. From here I tried to “Edit Place” and re-enter the address, it goes back to the loop of Method 2. Sometimes (i dunno how) the address is auto-updated to a random address in Hong Kong.

    Even though the map indicates the place in a wrong location, the direction box underneath the map works fine. The direction box can provide correct typeahead suggestions no matter I typed my location in Chinese or English.

    Can you please provide a solution of this issue? Your help is appreciated because this plugin is the one I found that works for me except the address part.

    I know only single location is supported but what is single location?

    Even Hong Kong is really small like I mentioned above, I tried to set the default location like this:
    City: Town A
    Region: District B
    Country: Hong Kong (SAR)

    I still failed to create a place with the following address:
    1. Road Name, Town A
    2. or just even Town A

    I still got prompted for “Please choose any address of the (Town A) city only.”

    Hi Finn,

    Please try setting the default location by moving the map not by entering the names by hand. Then try adding a new place.

    A single location is a town or city.

    I have a related question. Directory I am trying to set up is with about 40 schools across the US (possibly world). But the directory keeps defaulting to a city when I enter a new location. Is it possible to have this sort of directory?

    never mind. I see I need the plugin.
