Hi Pesche_be,
Provided your using the latest version, there isn’t any issues with the image selector. Are you happening to use a theme that disables “post-thumbnails” or something that may have an effect on assigning images to posts? Does your “Set Feature Image” on your pages and posts work as intended?
I can’t say I’ve experienced or heard of a problem like this, but happy to work through it with you in case there is something I can do on the plugin that will help people with the same situation in the future.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for the quick reply, really appreciate it.
I am using Vipress, so far assigning images to post works without problems. I also activated Firebug to see if there are any JS-problems, but there are none.
The only strange thing I noticed is that when I try to assign an image and open the media-library, it shows a broken image as the first image, with the following HTML:
<div class="attachment-preview type- subtype- landscape">
<img src="" class="icon" draggable="false">
<div class="filename"><div></div>
</div>
This doesn’t happen when I assign an image from somewhere else on the page, like e.g. from a post.
Hmm, what else can I tell you? Basically all works fine, just the d*mn image won’t appear… And ideas?
Cheers
Quick update: on the hunt for a work-around, I accessed the media-library and then assigned the image from the library to the advert-post. Doesn’t work either, the image doesn’t show up in the adverts nor in the post.
Sounds like its an issue admin side for sure. Also sounds very particular to your case here so I don’t like my chances in replicating this issue.
First I would look at disabling all plugins to see if its another plugin causing the problem. If not then is it viable to give me temporary access to your system so I can take a look first hand? Naturally if you were to do that, please send any information to me via the email address listed in your admin under the Ad King Pro setting page / help tab.
Pesche_be,
Any updates on this issue? I’d love to work out if it is a conflict with my plugin and someone elses and whether I’m able to fix it my end. Any info you could provide would be great.
Given the time between now and then, I’m going to assume that is issue was local to you which would suggest it wasn’t an issue with this plugin.
Thanks
