You’d have to keep the plugin activated.

They say that “jquery-migrate.min.js is no longer enabled by default in WordPress 5.5 and higher”…
e.g.:
https://perfmatters.io/docs/remove-jquery-migrate-wordpress/
https://www.searchenginejournal.com/how-to-fix-wordpress-5-5/378452/
So when you deactivate this plugin, do you see jquery-migrate.min.js being loaded?

No it doesn’t load. I am still being sent the warning emails though.
Although on another site I haven’t run this plugin on is on WP 5.7 and jquery migrate is loaded.
I had a similar experience to your last comment. I thought this plugin was maybe no longer needed, so I tried deactivating it on WordPress 5.6.2 – but then “jquery-migrate.min.js” suddenly reappeared in my page loads…
Not sure why, as I don’t believe any other plugin I’m using adds it or is dependent on it.
Not that it makes much difference but to lower my plugin count I have cut and pasted the contents of this plugin as a “code snippet”
