Set category by user

Hi Scribu. Great plugin and something that’s going a long way to streamline the user experience of a site I’m working on.

However, I’m trying to force each user to post into their own specific category (defined using the Author Categories plugin: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/author-category), but any posts made using the Front-End Editor default to ‘Uncategorized,’ regardless of the user.

My Post Creation page is very simple (title and content), modeled after your page at https://github.com/scribu/wp-front-end-editor/wiki/Creating-posts. I’m hoping that there’s something simple to add to this page to make it set the user’s post category per the Author Category setting.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have no link to preview, development is still local only. But this is a generalized enough question that an example isn’t needed.
