Set default for relationship field

    I have expanded with Pods the wordpress “User” and added more fields. One field is a realtionship with option fields. With the available options “AAA” and “BBB”. How can I set “BBB” as default value so that it is automatically deposited in all Users where nothing has been selected yet?

    Unfortunately we don’t have support for the new user creation form on the WP Dashboard > Users > Add New screen. If we did, that default value would be used for the field shown on that add new screen.

    So at this point, if you have users that you want to backfill — there’s no way to do this unless you use SQL to do that yourself.

    I’m interested in adding a CLI tool that can bulk set value on fields for those objects that have no value set or just setting across all objects found.

    Sorry it’s not easier right now, this is something a lot of custom field plugins haven’t sorted themselves yet either.
