Is it possible to configure it to optimize one image at a time? Optimizing six images at once slows down the website’s loading speed.

    Hi @chengjianping ,

Thank you for your message and for using ShortPixel! 🙂

Yes, you can absolutely limit how many images are optimized at once by using the filter described in this guide: https://shortpixel.com/knowledge-base/article/optimizing-large-sites-with-wp-cli/

In particular, the numitems parameter should be very helpful for your situation.

Your images most likely have a lot of thumbnails and this is why you’re experiencing that issue, but no worries, that article should help!

We will be here if you will need any assistance further!

    All the best,

After I added the code, numitems was set to 1; however, before long, it reverted back to the initial configuration. What could be the problem here?

    Hi again, @chengjianping ,

Could you please tell us what do you mean by “it reverted back to the initial configuration” ? Did the file get overwritten somehow or the plugin got back to the previous values even with numitems being configured to 1?

    Looking forward to your reply!
