    hey guys,

    my web host informed me that there are too many PHP processes running simultaneously and the reason might be this file:

    /wp-content/plugins/matomo/app/?module=API&method=CoreAdminHome.archiveReports&idSite=1&period=week&date=2025-09-15&format=json&segmen
    t=pageUrl%3D%40postuning.de&trigger=archivephp

    i know that there is an auto-archiving option with creating a cronjob, see: https://matomo.org/faq/on-premise/how-to-set-up-auto-archiving-of-your-reports/ .

    unfortunately this does not work with the WordPress plugin (“If you are using Matomo for WordPress, you don’t need to do this as it utilises the WP Cron.”).

    is there a way in Matomo for WordPress to make the archiving quicker or to run the archiving only at night?

    thanks a lot! 🙂
