Setting default shipping method does not work

    I have two shipping options enabled. Fixed price & local pickup (free). According the the setting there is a “Selection priority” you can set on each shipping method that will determine which one is selected by default. But regardless of how I try to change this value local pickup is always default.

    How can I change it so that the fixed price option is selected by default?

    I’m having the same problem. I have Per Product Shipping and UPS enabled in that order. But no matter how I set the shipping Selection Priority, it always selects UPS by default.

    How do we set the default shipping option?

    Was having the same problem and was about to post here to add a +1 to the thread, but I just tried flipping them (so that First Priority = 0, Second Priority = 1 instead of vice-versa) and now it works for me.
