    Hi, so I’m adding in the payment plan for my listing. I have the plan to have the duration of 365 days, and recurring. When I assign this paid plan to a listing (this listing is currently on a free plan), instead of making this listing to pay immediately, the system marks this listing as has paid for this period, and they won’t need to pay again until after 365 days.

    Am I doing something wrong here?

    Thanks for reaching out to us about this!

    If the listing was already created and active on a free plan, changing the assigned plan in the backend will not trigger an immediate payment. The system considers the current period as already paid, which is why it won’t require payment again until the 365-day duration ends.

    To have the paid plan applied correctly, you’ll need to:

    1. Mark the listing as expired from the backend.
    2. Then go to the frontend and renew the listing there.
    3. During the renewal process, select the paid plan. This will trigger the payment as expected.

    Simply switching the plan in the backend won’t force a payment. The renewal must be completed from the frontend to initiate the payment flow.
