First of all, thanks for using my plugin. It’s hard to hear that the plugin is not working for you as expected.
It seems like you’ve got a javascript error. Do you get any errors in your console of the element inspector? If you, could you please send me a screenshot of the error? (could be another javascript which is bashing!)
You first have to visit a post or page before it will be displayed in the widget. If you’re on the post itself, it will be escaped from the widget. To check if it works correctly, visit a couple of the selected posttypes. If still no posts are visible in the widget, then you’ve got a javascript error at the front also, which you can check by you element inspector (please send me also a screenshot when happens).
For now a quick solution could be to disable the display:hidden of the checkbox next to the switch, and select those.

go to: /wp-content/plugins/dd-lastviewed/js/ in your FTP Client and rename admin-lastviewed.js to admin-lastViewed.js

Hi, i see that you update your plugin to 2.1.
But i get an another error on front page:
GET http://www.domain.de/wp-content/plugins/dd-lastviewed/js/lastviewed.js 404 (Not Found)
Because: lastViewed.js in FTP folder is a big “V”
In my header is: lastviewed.js a small “v”
