1. go to appointment calendar settings sub menu >> notification settings
2. checked enable check box
3. select type of email
4. enter mail details that depend on your emial type

This has not worked for appointments that have been made.
Do I need to anything else to receive notification?

I am still having problems. I even tried it with a different email(hotmail) and the new port number and name.
Is there anything else that I need to do to set up the emails? I get an error when I manually confirm the appointments with both emails.
