    With this plugin, does one need to paste the generated CSS into the Autoptimize field here: https://cl.ly/0a75d68325a5 under inline and defer css? Confused about how this works, or if that option should even be turned on.

    no, you can leave the “above the fold CSS”-field empty, but “inline & defer” should be active for the power-up to work (it’ll tell you if you don’t have that on anyway) 🙂
