Settings doesn't affect theme

Hi there,

plugin seems to be great and excactly what I need – because first of all I want to translate theme language as things like ‘leave a comment’.

Unfortunately, xili settings doesn’t affect theme language in my case -> see linked screenshots

#1: language list German and English
#2: front-end settings are set to ‘language of visitors browser’ (in my case German). I also tried ‘software defined’ and ‘…de_DE’
#3: result in every case is an English Theme (red marked) instead of the German one

Before you ask theme is translated in German and it was shown in German without the plugin.

Thanks for any help as I haven’t found a solution in the forum and xili wiki.

Hi,
Thanks for the snapshot…
before using xili-language, you probably use another plugin with taxonomy language…
The full name in language list is not correct. please enter a full name like english and german …

ISO names must be en_US or de_DE as suggested in default list

and I guess, this I could have found in the wiki – sorry!

btw. unfortunately dates for month archives and for posts are still in English. Guess, I can found it somewehre in the docu, too 😉

Hi Michel,

sorry, have to come back to you. Haven’t found the date issue in the wiki and could not solve it. Since using xili-lanugage (which seems to be extremly helpful) month and dates even in the German theme are in English.

You can see it at the bottom of the page at the “Monatsarchiv”. You can find the English months in it like July instead of “Juli” etc.

is there a possibility to donate somewhere?

Hi Michel,

just found some more translation trouble using xili translation.
Activating plugin some parts are translated in German, some are not (without the plugin it was shown in German). Do you have any idea?
See different Screenshots:
– Comments description in English instead of German
– Archive for months in English instead of German
– Post Date in English instead of German

Have just installed it but don’t excactly know, what to do with it.
How does it have influence on the shown dates in English and German?
