Settings Modal does not appear. Cannot save Settings.

    I just installed the newest version of the BackUpWordPress plugin onto a single-site install of WP Version 3.8.1.

    I click Tools > Backup > Settings > The Settings Modal does not appear. Instead a new tab opens with a plain text Settings form, which cannot be saved.

    I tried saving the backup one time (ran fine), and refreshing the Settings page, but neither one helped. Kindly assist.

    Sorry about that, sometimes it helps to click the “Backups” link again under Tools, then trying again.

    We’re actually working on getting rid of the popups altogether in an upcoming version.
