• Hi

We want to use the premium beaver version so we planned to test the lite version first.

However, when we installed it, we are not able to access the settings page as it is returning 500 error:

http://www.marineinsight.com is currently unable to handle this request.
    HTTP ERROR 500

Can you help is resolve this issue?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey @raunekk,

    Thanks for posting!

A 500 error is actually an error coming from the server side. Can you try getting in touch with your hosting and see if they can pull up the error logs from their end? It should help us identify what’s causing the 500 error. 🙂

    Hi Ben

    Thanks for the reply.

    Below is what they replied:

It seems the process needs a lot of memory to work so we increased the PHP memory limit to 2014MB and now the settings are loading.

Surprisingly, beaver is one of the recommended tools by our hosts.

The settings are now loading, but it still takes a lot of time.

    Any idea?

    Thanks

    Raunek

    Hey @raunekk,

That amount of memory is a bit much. I’ve seen quite a few sites run flawlessly with just about 100MB of memory, and it’s running along with other plugins. Something else must be causing the issue.

Can you try doing the plugin deactivation route to isolate the issue, i.e., disable all plugins and test the Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a 3rd party plugin.

    Hi Ben

    Thanks for the quick reply

We already tried that but the problem wasn’t solved even when all other plugins were disabled.

Is there any other way to find out the problem?

    Thanks in advance.
