Hello,

I use litespeed with quic.cloud on wordpress.

My images are already optimized before being uploaded to WordPress. So I don’t want to optimize the .jpg images already on my site. I’d like to use image optimization only to create the webp format. In the end, I’ll only have the original .jpeg format and the .webp format on my server.

Is this possible? What settings would I need to set up to do this?

well , unfortunately no

despite the plugin will attempt to optimize these “already-optimized images” , but in most of time it would just failed , but only proceed to webp file generation

With my config, the image optimisation only create webp. So, it seems to work.

Another question, if the option “Optimize original images” is ON in the settings, the image optimization process created an optimized .jpg and a .webp. In this case, Webp is generated from the original .jpg image or from the optimized .jpg image ?

it’s always from original images , regardless original image optimization successful or failed
