• Under advanced tab, my delivery method is set to simple.

Under miscellaneous, I check “compress pages” and under expiry time, I changed from 1800 seconds to 604800 seconds and save. However, when I go back to that tab, everything resets. Same with preload tab.

    Why is that?

  • Did this start happening in the latest release? Can you try revert to an older version? You can find those on this page: https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/releases

If we can pinpoint when this started happening we can figure out what code change caused it.

Okie dokies, I’m updating 1 of many sites today and this one I’m currently working on still has the older version of super cache (1.5.7.1). I will let you know if I’m able to save in this version.

Okies, in V 1.5.7.1, my settings are saved. It’s the latest version that isn’t saving. Hope that helps.

Can you check your PHP error log? There might be a warning there that PHP can’t load the WP Super Cache configuration file?
