I’m using Authorize.net for my merchant account and even though I’m not using custom trials (or any trial) with PMP, it appears a 0.00 trial is being passed to Authorize.net for each new signup along with the first payment.

So each new signup the actual membership level amount is processed and settled perfectly, but the very next day I get an additional $0.00 settlement error. Authorize shows the customer has as a “Trial Period” in subscription detail.

Once again, I definitely don’t have custom trials set up in the membership levels. The box is not checked. “Billing cycle limit” is set to 0 for unlimited.

Has anyone seen this issue before or know a fix? I was going to try commenting out some trial lines in the authorize gateway class next.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro. I’m really sorry for this issue you are facing.

We are looking to test Authorize.net and see if we can recreate this issue. If this is a bug, we will definitely patch it as soon as possible and roll out an update.

    Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for your patience, would you mind sharing your membership level settings in question so I may look into this further for you?

Here are all my settings for my main level.

    Initial Payment: $67
    Recurring Subscription: Is Checked
    Billing Amount: $67 Per 1 Month(s)
    Billing Cycle Limit: 0
    Custom Trial: Not Checked
    Disable New Signups: Not Checked
    Membership Expiration: Not Checked

I’m also using the Register Helper Add On and have some customizations, but nothing that would appear to impact the trial or authorize code.
