Settting up Events

    Sorry, I’m not sure if I totally missed something or not but on my page I have the Sermons selection and right under that in the screenshot I see “Events” However when editing my page I don’t have an “Events” Button anywhere… did I completely miss something?? (I only have the free version and not the recurring events addon)

    To add an event, go to Events > Add Event in the admin area. Here are additional details: https://churchthemes.com/guides/user/content/events/#managing-events. The Church Theme Content plugin provides the admin interface for events, sermons, etc. How events and other content is displayed is 100% dependent on the theme you are using.

    Our own themes (from churchthemes.com) require that you choose an events page template in the Page Attributes box when adding a new page. The template will cause events to be shown on that page. Your theme may or may not work in this way so I recommend referring to the documentation provided by Aivah Themes or that you contact them for support.

    Yeah if you look on the image that you linked to, you see Sermons then Events then locations… in my admin panel I see Sermons then Locations… the Events button isn’t there… I wasn’t sure if there was something that I was missing and had to enable it.

    Thank you, I understand now. Looking at the Hopes demo, it does not appear to support the Events feature of the Church Theme Content plugin (the theme author can confirm this for you). It is showing The Event Calendar plugin in the demo so you may want to look into installing that and see if the theme has any docs on getting started with it.
