    Hello,
I have just installed W3 Total Cache. When going to configure the settings, I am greeted by the TotalCache: Setup Guide; however, neither the skip button nor the next button seems to work. My mouse hover shows them as clickable, but nothing happens when I click them. I tried to navigate to other settings within the plugin using the sidebar menu, but it just redirects me to the Setup Guide.

I have already purged the cache and uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin.

    Hello @outbwebdev

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
I’ve tested the setup guide and it works as expected.
Can you please share the website URL and where is the website hosted?
Try inspecting the source when the setup guide is opened in your dashboard and check the network tab for any 404 ajax calls.
Have you tried skipping the entire setup guide process by clicking the skip this setup guide. link?

    Thanks!

    Hello Marko,

    The website url is https://outbranding.com/

The website is hosted using InMotion Hosting.

I did try skipping the setup guide using the mentioned link, but that also did not work.

I found many errors on the page related to the setup guide when I inspected it as you suggested. I am not certain what needs to be done to resolve them. Here is a screenshot of what I discovered:

    Hello @outbwebdev

    Thank you for your feedback.
I’ve tested this with the fresh install and everything is working as expected.
Can you please check if you are possibly using any security plugins that may be blocking the test guide from running?
Also, please disable the other plugins one by one and see if any of them may be causing the conflict.
    Thanks!

    Hello Marko,

I have resolved the issue! There was some deprecated code in my functions.php file that was causing jQuery to defer and thus load after any javascript was run. I have removed the deprecated code, and the setup guide is now working.

I apologize for the mixup. Thank you for your help!
