Setup Instructions needed please

    Hi. I’m very much a novice web developer building my own coaching and education site and this plugin looks perfect to connect learndash with discord… but I can find no instructions on what to do.

    There are a host of things on the wordpress side like client ID’s and Bot Tokens and redirects. .. can someone provide some steps to get me setup please?

    If I’ve missed the setup documentation would someone point me towards that please?

    Hi. Thanks for the link and the quick response. I’ve followed the instructions but got stuck. I assume we are talking about the same app that has been renamed since the video was made as it’s called something different and the options look different.. however, I get to connect your bot and it opens a pop-up window with discord saying I have Invalid O2Auth redirect uri… I’ve got my site address and /my-account/?via=connect-learndash-discord-addon showing in learndash settings and in discord. Any ideas what I’ve done wrong please?

    You have 2 URL , the two urls must added to your Auth URL Discord

    The first url is the one the user will be redirected to after connecting to discord.
    The second URL to connect the Bot.
    You must add them in your discord application: OAuth2 -> Redirects

    Morning Younes… Superb. That’s got it. I didn’t realise I needed to click to add the admin redirect in discord also. …Every day I’m faced with a bunch of stuff where there’s a thousand different options and I’m not familiar with any of them. Finding the right button probably seems easy to you but is a mission for me.

    Many thanks for you instructions and help. The bot has connected, it’s morning here in Blighty, I’m fresh and raring to go… Let’s see what trouble I can get myself into, then out of, today! …really appreciate you taking the time to help and look forward to learning what your plugin can do.

    Good news to know you have resolved.
    take a tour in the addon: make relationship between LearnDash Courses and your discord roles, try to connect to the server …..
    If you have any questions, just open a new Topic, I have to mark this one as solved.
