setup plugin

    Hi there,
    I just installed the redirection plugin on a new website and would like to understand why, in stead of the page where I can directly manage the urls, when I go to the redirection page I get a Welcome page where I am supposed to do the set up/configuration of the plugin.
    The page says that the plugin will configure / set up the database…. Is there a way to skip this intro and get directly to the redirection page as it used to be before?

    You need to setup the plugin first. It takes about 4 clicks.

    Hi John,
    Thank you for your reply. Does this procedure change the database?
    I read that the plugin might cause some problems with wordfence. Is that true?
    Do you suggest to install wordfence before or after completing the configuration of redirection?

    Yes, it installs some database tables. It’s always done this, but now there is a setup screen.

    Wordfence can block the REST API, causing problems for anything that uses it, which includes Redirection. You will require continual access to the REST API to use the plugin.
