    Hi! Just wanted to ask, what kind of things this cron tasks do: wpseo-reindex and wpseo_permalink_structure_check? In what cases these cron tasks can be removed, or their intervals can be increased?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    wpseo-reindexlinks calculates the number of internal links, that is, the number of links from one post to another post (applies to posts, pages, and other content). wpseo_permalink_structure_check It checks if the WordPress permalink (like post_name, date, etc.) has changed since the last time we checked. If yes, it prompts to redo the indexables since URLs have changed.

    It’s not recommended to remove any. Both are scheduled to run once daily, but you’re at liberty to change the frequency.
