Several issues

I was so close to purchasing the premium version, but after seeing the responsiveness (or lack of) by the author, I am glad I didn’t

However, if I can get some help setting this up, I would love to contribute to a potentially high quality plugin by upgrading.

1) Registration emails are not being sent. I am using an email created for my domain, so it’s not a spam issue. I am assuming you are going to tell me to install an SMTP plugin for this, so I will go ahead and begin doing that.

2) Even though I checked the boxes in settings for :
Require new users enter a password during registration…
and
Show password strength meter…

There is still text saying “A password will be emailed to you” and the strength meter doesn’t change as text is entered

3) What in the world is this popup for userbase? And how do I disable it?
I think a registration popup is a great idea, but this doesn’t seem to allow the guest to actually register for my site. It’s for a third-party service I suppose.

4) If I enter register – login – log out – etc etc into my menu, everything stays whether the user is logged in or out. Shouldn’t it change depending on the users status?
