Several problems with new theme

    I am new to wordpress. I purchased a theme called Arliss from Blurbia. It seems the theme partially runs on Java, which I am not familiar with. There is supposed to be a rotating featured post banner that I can’t get to work and I also can’t figure out how to use the banner ad spaces that are pre-configured (I would like to put adsense code into it). In addition to all of that, I can’t seem to figure out how to make the navigation bar show categories instead of pages. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Shouldn’t you be asking this question somewhere around here:

    I’d take a look at the theme, but it’s a commercial theme that I can’t download.

    I contacted them and they responded saying that they will be in touch with me soon with some direction but I’m trying to get it resolved sooner. Is there a section of code that I could post for you to check out? Thanks

    No, a section of code is likely to not help at all.

    Yes, this is definitely something the theme developers would need to help you with. If they aren’t getting back to you by email, try finding them on Twitter.
