    Hello!

I’m a novice at WP but I’ve managed to put together a functioning website. While testing my site, I noticed my WP Forms are not submitting which is a key function on my website. When submitting a form, I get the message “The form was unable to submit. Please contact the site administrator.” After researching that it may have to do with caches, I tried a few solutions including clearing caches, excluding pages, disabling anti-spam protection in WP Form, and disabling reCapta. In the end, the only thing that would solve the problem is completely disabling the SG Optimizer plugin. I tried replacing the plugin with other caches but they changed the appearance and function of my website. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this issue? You can test either of the following links:

Thanks in advance for your help! There are a few solutions floating around but none have worked for me or are unresolved by other users.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hello @meljoyl,

I checked the form and when I submit it I see the following error in the POST request response:

Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.
The form was unable to submit. Please contact the site administrator

I also see that the form data is collected via Javascript (JS), which leads me to believe that one of the JS optimizations is responsible for this.

You can try disabling them one by one through SG-Optimiser >> Frontend >> Javascript and see which of the features there is causing this.

    Hello @pdosev,

Wow! Thanks so much for your help. It was the Defer Render-blocking JavaScript feature causing the issue. I disabled it and that worked like a charm- everything is back in working order now.

Thanks again for your help and have a happy holiday!
