I have a couple clients that utilize SG hosting. Can you confirm that install of this plugin is REQUIRED for your server-side caching to be flushed upon WordPress content updates? Without the plugin installed, cache is definitely NOT flushed on WordPress content updates and its damn frustrating (especially since the cache is disabled for admin users, so you make a change and verify it as an admin, only to get complaints that the changes aren’t appearing for everyone else).

If this is the case, SG should be more upfront in letting their customers know that this plugin is required so that caching can be flushed correctly when WordPress content is updated.

    Thanks!

    Hello @brucedwilliams,

Our Dynamic Cache Full Page service is integrated with Nginx and isn’t directly linked to WordPress. Therefore, we recommend using a plugin to make it easier to manage. This plugin helps automatically clear the cache whenever you update or create content, saving you the hassle of doing it manually. That’s why we suggest using the plugin in the Dynamic Cache section of SiteTools and in all our related tutorials and articles. You can choose not to use the plugin, but you’ll need to manually clear the cache every time you make changes in the backend.

I understand your concerns, which is why we made sure to communicate the and recommend our plugin as the best method for managing the WordPress cache while using our services.

    Best Regards,

    Simeon Boev
