Share count and https

that’s because Facebook and others treat https://www.my-website.com and http://www.my-website.com as separate urls and therefore count their shares separately as well. I suspect you have correctly set up a 301 “moved permanently” from http to https. Most networks will aggregate the shares after a while, but that can take up to months.

You can check that yourself by trying your domain with and without https:

https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/

Unfortunatly there is nothing we can do on our end.
