Shariff 4.0.7 Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION | ww.wp.xz.cn

After an upgrade to Shariff 4.0.7 from the WP Dashboard, it breaks my site:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in […]/wp-content/plugins/shariff/shariff.php on line 285

And ideas?

My website address is https://www.wasfuereintheater.com/ but I’ll try and remove the plugin for the time being.

Hi michaelkallweitt,

sorry for the inconvenience. There is a problem with sites running on very old PHP versions. I’ll get a workaround ready as soon as possible.

Issue has been fixed in 4.0.8.
