Hi there,
we had basic AMP support years back actually, but I haven’t tested it in the recent times since Google announced last year that AMP will no longer be treated better than any other type of page / content. So I didn’t see any benefit anymore by using AMP over using a fast and optimized webpage.
We used to support the the AMP plugin by Automatic and the AMP for WP plugin by Ahmed and Mohammed Kaludi. Have you, by chance, tried using AMP with one of these plugins and Shariff?
Cheers

Hi JP,
yes, I’m using the official AMP plugin by Automattic and tried inserting the Shariff-shortcode – but it doesn’t work, unfortunately.
Do you have any idea what I could do about it?
Thanks again and best regards,
eC
Hi,
I just tested it and it works in the “Transitional” and in the “Reader” mode. Just not in the “Standard” mode because our plugin uses the “is_amp_endpoint” check if it should switch to AMP mode. Back in the times there where always the two versions of a page: the normal and the amp one. The “new” setting “Standard” mode, where you -only- have an amp version, simple didn’t exist back then.
Cheers
JP
