Shimmering image on hover over upcoming events widget

    We think this occurs when there are events which overlap in time on the same day.
    When the cursor hovers over the upcoming events widget display of events, a shimmering image appears and the events cease to be accessible.
    The problem occurs on both chrome and firefox browsers.
    It also occurs on the main calendar display in the month view.

    In this case the problem can be resolved by switching to agenda view and then switching back to month view. It is not resolved by clearing browsing data and cookies.
