Shipping areas

I have created several shipping zones in woocommerce. Then in each zone I added delivery methods in each shipping zone. The problem is that woocommerce selects the shipping zone at the top by default. What I want is that the shipping area chosen based on the delivery address of the customer. How to configure all this?

Hey there,

Can you post a screenshot of what you have set up for shipping zones? That should help with diagnosing the issue.

That’s how Shipping Zones works – it goes from the top and selects the first one that matches the customer address.

Did you specify countries/states/ZIP codes in each of the Zones?

Postal codes do not exist with us. However when I enter postal codes it works very well. Please keep me informed if there are other methods

What Zones have you set up?

I would save the Cameroon with different city as Douala and Yaoundé. The problem is that in Cameroon there is no postal codes. So what I did was assign a postal code to each city. I would like to know if there is not another method

I see – you could add the cities as States like this:

https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/addmodify-states/

That way you can add the cities to the Shipping Zones and the customer could select the city from a dropdown during checkout.
