This free version doesn’t provide a built-in way to handle shipping pricing like that, it’d take custom work. The premium version does though and we’d love to chat with you about that, if you’ll get in touch through our contact form.

can’t i just assign a weight class to the product and solve the problem that way? Meaning only items over a certain weight get charged shipping?

Thanks for your reply and actually, you could still specify a shipping cost on a per-product basis. So you could charge $0 shipping on products to represent products under a certain weight. Then charge shipping on a per-product basis above that.
Would something like that maybe work for you?
