Hi guys, please can you help? I’m quite new to Woocommerce. I’m selling various products on my site including badges and mugs etc. Please can you tell me how to setup a shipping cost for a badge and then a different shipping cost for a mug? And then how to show that specific item shipping cost in the basket and not show any other cost apart from that shipping cost for that specific item, hopefully without having to pay for a plugin! thank you

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ianjreadwordpress,

    >how to setup a shipping cost for a badge and then a different shipping cost for a mug?

    1. You will want to use the shipping classes for this. You will want to create a shipping class for the badge and another one for the mug in your case. You’ll find more info in this documentation: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-shipping-classes/#section-1

    2. Once done, assign your shipping classes to the individual products from Product Data > General > Tax Class
    3. Use the Flat Rate Shipping method to specify the shipping costs for the different products. You will find more info in this documentation: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/flat-rate-shipping/#shipping-classes

I’m having a bit of a challenge picturing this in full, but do you wish shipping costs to be shown on the product page? If so, note that WooCommerce doesn’t have an inbuilt feature for this. Thus, you will consider consulting with a developer or the WooCommerce Customizations Experts to add this for you.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks.
