    1. Where does the vendor input the shipping information such as tracking etc…

    2. why do you show a frontend to the vendor if they cant do anything with it? how do i hide it to stop ticking people off as they try figuring out why its not working?

    3. my account pages have “orders” and “dashboard” links already and your link is called “Dashboard manage your account here” how do i change that? its very confusing cause they are on their account page.. it should say “vendor area” or something…

    4. do i really have to add their logos and banners for them cause the front end does nothing?

    5. the cart already has 2 options from the admin panel… priority and first class… what is the shipping section for in the vendor dashboard? will it override the admins?? doesnt seem to do anything no matter what i put in to test it…

    6. I check the shipping box “Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.” but their commisions still only show for the cost of the product… the shipping money is not be sent to them..

ill stop there for now but i have alot more… very involved plugin… def gonna have a learning
curve before i can make this live…

    7. my site has affiliates that earn 15% per sale… how does that interact with your vendor plugin… vendors arent gonna wanna pay me a percent and pay an affiliate a percent… but will affiliate links know the difference between vendor and admin products? or am i gonna have to choose between affitiate site and multi vendor site?

Answer 1: Please go to through the screenshot – https://goo.gl/ZXfSU3.

Answer 2: Apology but I don’t understand what you meant by “show a frontend to the vendor if they can’t do anything with it?”. Because frontend is designed for vendors to input the necessary information and setting up the store, product and additional features like shipping, etc.

Answer 3: You can change your text by add_filter “wcmp_vendor_goto_dashboard”.

Answer 4: Adding logo and banner depends on you. But please let me know what you actually referring by saying “frontend does nothing”.

Answer 5: Definitely, the admin has the control on the shipping part but shipping charges may vary from vendor to vendor. But when the site will grow in terms of numbers of the vendors, then it won’t be possible for the admin to assign the shipping charges one by one. So, the shipping section is provided to the vendor for the vendor’s convenience as well as for the admin.

However, if you want to give the entire control to the admin then you can hide the shipping option on the Vendor Dashboard. Here is the path to remove the shipping option from the Vendor Dashboard: wp-admin >> WooCommerce >> WCMp >> Payments > What to Pay > Shipping : Uncheck the shipping option to deactivate shipping > Save changes.

Answer 6: Please ensure that you have added the shipping class for that product(s).

Answer 7: Presently, WC-Marketplace doesn’t support the affiliate thing but we are working on it.

    1. is everything you are saying only available in the front end manager plugin? cause none of what you say works in the free version… the vendor front end section that vendors see and can click to from the backend panel does nothing… shows no orders… so how can they add tracking? and in the back end, there only option is “mark as shipped” with no inputs for anything..

    2. all shipping classes are input by me the admin… NONE OF THE FEES are being forwarded to the vendor as i stated… Changing anything in the vendor section in regards to shipping fees, does nothing as the admins original shipping classes are what shows in the check out so again, is this only available in the paid plugin? im not trying to give control to the admin im trying to give it to the vendors and nothing works to do that… all of my stuff is updated to the latest versions devilpods.com

    3. So i have to get rid of affiliates section to have a vendor section… tough choice

    4. i mean front end does nothing in the vendor section… they cant uplaod a banner or logo.. not in the back end either.. they can upload media but no where do they have the option to make them banner and logo… is this again only in the paid plugin?

very kool plugin but the free version is impractical to do anything.. gives you everything you need accept the final pieces to work “freely”… no front end for the vendor.. no shipping choices for the vendor front or back… vendor cant create a shop identity with logo and banner… the option is frozen in the free version. it really is useless as a free version other than as a sales tool for the paid version

I am sorry to know @jasonur, that you are not able to explore the WC-Marketplace completely and correctly. I would request you to go through our demo site using vendor’s credential (uname: demo_vendor and pwd: demo_vendor). Please note: This demo is all about the free version of WC-Marketplace.

thank you. i just tried the demo version and it is exactly the same as what i have on my site… that answered all my questions… it works the same on my site, but not really practical without the paid front end… it is too confusing for vendors and would cost me vendors if i offered them the free version… do you have a demo for the paid front end so i can see if thats worth the price and will attract vendors?

I think, I am not able to understand what you want to express because what you are saying is offered by WC-Marketplace that is also in the free version. Can you share the screenshots of your findings?

there is nothing to share… you free version works exactly like i said it does in my version on my site… its impractical to have vendors going back and forth between front end and back end in the free version to set things up… if im wrong, what exactly is the paid version giving me? do you have a paid demo version for me to try?

Well, in the free version, the vendor(s) is/are redirected to the backend only while adding the product(s) and coupon(s). Apart from this, a vendor can control everything from the frontend. But you can restrict the vendors from going to the backend by using WCMp Frontend Manager. Here is the demo for the same : http://demo.wc-marketplace.com/themes/flatsome/

    Uname: Chris
    Pwd: Chris

Apart from WCMp Frontend Manager (paid extension), there are another 5 paid add-ons available for enhancing features for the vendors and two more are on the verge of launch.
