  • Hi @adepttextiles,

I completely understand how frustrating and concerning this must be—especially after using both plugins successfully for years, only to run into this roadblock now. I also get that troubleshooting can feel overwhelming, particularly if you’re not very technical. I’ll do my best to support you and help guide you toward the right solution.

“Validation error: PayPal IPN response from a different email address ([email protected])”

This indicates that PayPal is sending a notification from an email address that doesn’t match the one WooCommerce is expecting—most likely because the email configured in your WooCommerce PayPal settings is different.

A few things might be causing this:

    • You may have changed your PayPal email.
    • Your PayPal account might be connected to two different sites under the same domain.
    • You could have multiple PayPal plugins installed, each linked to the same or different PayPal accounts.

    To fix this, I recommend:

    • Contacting PayPal to verify which email is connected to your account.
    • Making sure the email in your WooCommerce PayPal settings matches the one on your PayPal account.
    • Reaching out to the support team for the PayPal payment plugin you’re using. If it’s a plugin from ww.wp.xz.cn, go to the plugin’s page and click on the “Support” tab to access the support forum.

Error: Invalid API key. Please reconnect your store in Printful plugin settings

Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do directly about this issue since it involves Printful, and they’re in the best position to investigate and resolve it.

What I suggest is that you first sort out the PayPal-related issue as mentioned earlier. If the Printful error still shows up afterward, then it’s best to contact their support — this falls within their area and they should be able to help you further.

I understand this might not feel like a complete solution, and it’s totally valid to feel overwhelmed. Our support mainly covers WooCommerce core issues, but we’ll always do my best to guide you to the right place for help.

If you have any WooCommerce-related questions or need further guidance, feel free to reach out anytime — I’m happy to assist.

yes i understand the payment was able to go threw so that means that there might be nothing wrong with the paypal… you think thats true .. the only thing is that is shows that the payment is on hold its not completed

i was wondering the method on how e commerce works like once the product is purchased then the fulfillment company is contacted i did more research on the invaild api key error with printful.. they say that there is a woo commerce plug in that in interfering with the printful plug in …

i was wondering like the chain of events that allows printful to see my product, needs to be delivered and i dont know if its being stoped in paypal with the error . paypal is fine and printful is having a issue..

they are saying that printful doesn’t want to deal with a bug that they have

    Hi @adepttextiles,

Thanks for following up and sharing more details, I can see you’ve done a lot of digging already, and I understand how frustrating it is when everything used to work and now things feel disconnected.

You’re right that if the payment goes through in PayPal but the order shows as “On hold” in WooCommerce, it likely means there’s a mismatch or disruption in the order confirmation flow, which could be affecting how Printful picks up the order.

That said, the issue you’re facing seems to involve multiple moving parts — PayPal IPN, WooCommerce order status, and the Printful API connection. Since Printful is also reporting a conflicting plugin, and the API key error hasn’t resolved even after generating a new one, the only way to fully resolve this would be to dive deeper into your setup.

At this point, I strongly recommend working with a developer who can:

    • Review your PayPal and WooCommerce settings
    • Check for any plugin conflicts affecting Printful
    • Make sure the correct hooks are firing when an order is placed

I know that’s not the quick fix you were hoping for, but with complex setups like this, having someone take a closer technical look will save you a lot of time and headaches.

    Thank you.
