I don’t think so. I tried adding text instead of numbers and WooCommerce would convert it back to Shipping #… It would definitely be useful and I will gladly update the plugin if they ever change this in the future.

Hello Erica – you can do this if you grab each cart item shipping class, and if the item falls into shipping class, then use whatever you want there. However, this would call for a custom cart-shipping.php template though. i little work around that may be helpful to some.
