Shipping Zone

    Is there any way to get locations to work with shipping zones, so if the stock is at a location which is far from the customer, they have to pay the higher shipping cost but if the are within the same shipping zone as the location they get the cheaper shipping, kind of like tagging the store locations within the shipping zone. hope that makes sense.

    @djsieff I understand the feature request you have. Actually at this moment these are just location names and on product add to cart action, these locations are being selected. According to the stock availability, users can change their decision if a stock is not available in one inventory. You are referring to a situation where shipping zone will have some attachment with these locations and if that a inventory location will be selected so shipping cost will be applied according to the shipping zone it is attached to. Your problem description is clear but needs some more light with the help of latitude/longitude or you are planning to enter some custom value as distance input? Merely by associating location names with shipping zones will not resolve the issue. I am closing this ticket as it is not a bug report but will keep replying you to understand this scenario so this awesome feature can be added to this plugin.
