    This might be a very silly question, but I need some help. I am attempting to change my shipping options. Here is what I would like to have:

    Normal items:
    UK shipping:
    – First Class Option
    – Second Class Option
    Zone 1 – Flat Rate
    Zone 2 – Flat Rate

    Medium items:
    UK shipping:
    – First Class Option
    – Second Class Option
    *Excludes the rest of the world

    Large items:
    UK shipping:
    – First Class Option
    – Second Class Option
    *Excludes the rest of the world

    As of right now my normal items are just fine. That was the easy part. But adding larger items I’m having trouble. When I test with a product and specify the class as being a larger item, it shows as 2 options, both first and second class. I would love to offer both options for them, but I don’t want people being confused at checkout not sure what option to choose. Also people would most likely choose the cheapest option anyway.
    Also, I’m not finding a way to exclude the rest of the world for the larger items. The shipping cost is astonomical, and its a bit of a headache so I was just going to exclude shipping to the rest of the world for those specific items.

    Is it obvious and I’m just not seeing it? Do I need a specific plugin to specify it this way?

    Are the normal, medium, and large items separate shipping zones? If so that is likely the source of the trouble. A shipping address can only match one zone. The system will start comparing the address to zones starting at the top of the list of zones. Once a match is found, it will stop looking through the other zones for potential matches.

    So if the top zone covers the UK, then any zones below it that are also for the UK will never be used. All UK addresses would match the top zone only.

    Any shipping options you’d like to make available for a location have to be included in the top zone for that address.
