ShipStation breaks Tracking Links

Hi Zorem,

After the recent changes to ShipStation as of 5th March 2026. All Carrier Id’s and Tracking Numbers are not being injected in the Shipment Tracking plugin, The only thing that happens now is an order note is added with the Shipping details as text.

Here is a reply from ShipStation:

Thanks for clarifying! It sounds like ShipStation is posting tracking info as an order note, but the WooCommerce Shipment Tracking plugin isn’t picking up the carrier or tracking number anymore.

This usually happens when:

• The ShipStation plugin posts tracking details in a format that the Shipment Tracking plugin doesn’t recognise.
• There’s a change in how plugins communicate after an update.

Here’s what you can try:

• Check if the WooCommerce Shipment Tracking plugin is up to date and compatible with the latest ShipStation plugin.
• Review the integration settings in WooCommerce to see if there’s an option to map tracking info directly to the Shipment Tracking fields, not just order notes.
• Disable other plugins that might affect order notes or tracking fields, then test again.

If the tracking info is only appearing as an order note, ShipStation may not be able to push it directly to the Shipment Tracking plugin anymore due to recent changes. You can find more details in our WooCommerce integration guide.
